AP Week

Well, it’s AP week. Really I must be studying, but as an apology for lack of a post, I leave you with my study playlist:

  • “Steady As She Goes” — The Raconteurs
  • “Are You In?” — Incubus
  • “Basket Case” — Green Day
  • “Rhiannon” — Fleetwood Mac
  • “Dumb” — Nirvana
  • “Boy With A Coin” — Iron & Wine
  • “Bandoliers” — Them Crooked Vultures
  • “Drive My Car” — The Beatles
  • “Runaway Baby” — Bruno Mars (I’ll admit it: this one makes it on almost every playlist I make)
  • “What the Water Gave Me” — Florence + The Machine
  • “Chelsea Dagger” — The Fratellis
  • “Michelle” — The Beatles
  • “Pumped Up Kicks” — Foster the People
  • “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams” — Green Day
  • “Evening on the Ground (Lillith’s Song)” — Iron & Wine
  • “Suit & Tie” — Justin Timberlake ft. Jay Z
  • “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” — The Beatles
  • “Another One Bites the Dust” — Queen
  • “Mr. Brightside” — The Killers
  • “Bliss” — Muse
  • “Hysteria” — Muse
  • “Bohemian Rhapsody” — Queen (not much studying gets done when this song comes on… oops!)
  • “Heavenfaced” — The National
  • “Dirty Paws” — Of Monsters and Men
  • “Ant’s Marching” — Dave Matthews Band
  • “Desecration Smile” — Red Hot Chili Peppers

If you can’t tell, I’ve really been feeling The Beatles and Green Day lately. It’s an odd combination.

Share yours in the comments! Until next week, keep listening!

Also, for all you Lit kids tomorrow, I leave you with this meme:

  1. I am admittedly heavy on the late Green Day. I listened to American Idiot straight through in one sitting like a month ago and can’t get enough.

  2. The Beatles and Green Day are NOT an odd combination. From this playlist it looks like you’re heavy on the early Beatles and the late Green Day. You oughta check out the other end of the pool for some Abbey Road and Insomniac, and if you already have, you can’t hear it too many times.
